Requests for condensation risk analysis have become much more prevalent in recent years.

In most cases the risk of condensation occurring under normal conditions can be greatly reduced or even eliminated by careful design and selection of appropriate glazing components - we are here to help and advise.

Window Acoustic Calculations
Acoustic Attenuation to EN 14351
We are able to carry out window acoustic attenuation calculations according to Annex B of EN 14351 provided that the pre-requisites of the standard are met.
Thermal Transmittance Calculations
Windows and Doors
Calculation of thermal transmittance (U-value) of windows, doors and glazed screens in accordance with EN ISO 10077-1.
(Uw and Ud)

Results can be independently verified and appropriate certification issued either by a Notified Body for CE Marking or by an Approved Body for UKCA Marking if required.

Glazing Calculations
Radiation and Thermal Properties of Glazing to EN 673 and EN 410
We are able to carry out a range of glazing performance calculations, including:-

Centre Pane Transmission (Ug)
Solar Gain Values (g)
Transmission, Reflection and Absorption etc.

We are able to determine the above parameters for Insulated Glass Units (IGUs) alone, or for the whole window assembly as required.
Design Optimisation and Improvement
Improving Performance
We are able to advise on frame re-design, thermal break enhancement, glazing specification and spacer bar selection to assist you in achieving the optimised level of performance for your products.
